Out of all the places that I've traveled to, Lofoten is definitely without a doubt the most beautiful and unique. Where else in the world can you see endless snow capped mountains rising straight out of the ocean, with the soft pink light that only a arctic sunrise can bring... Or the shimmering dance of the northern lights over a frozen white sandy beach. I've used the term bucket list destination before, but this place gives it a whole new meaning.
