On my last trip to Iceland, I decided to join a group that hiked up to one of Icelands famous glaciers, Vatnajökull. Inside one of Vatnajökull's many icecaves, I could not help but feel a sense awe as i stared at the vivid crystal blue colours of the ice as the sunlight trickled through it. I had to stand in freezing cold glacial water to capture this stunning view that was unfolding before me, and i'm so glad I did.
