A Snowy Egret runs across the shallows in search of breakfast.

I often am so taken with the surf and sunrise that I fail to look at the details that make it so worthwhile.

The wind was whipping, the storm was coming fast, but the sunrise made a wet ride home on my bike well worth it.

The sun didn't show up this morning, but left its color all over the beach.

It wasn't long ago that I didn't even know what a mottled duck is, now it is one of my favorites!
