At Fleet week in San Francisco I had the proverbial good luck of "right place and right tine". I shot a series of pictures just as an F-A-18 Super Hornet was breaking the speed of sound, creating the vapor cone just as it was flying above Alcatraz. This is the best of them.
(Wonder if I ever manage to repeat that).
