Location
This photo is taken from my bedroom window! I live in the south of west France and the bridge is the Pont de Viaur. The bridge was built in 1902 and the architect was Henri Boudin who work for the world famous Eiffel company.Time
This photo was taken in the morning in November. Frequently, the mist in the valley follows the river like a white snake and can completely envelop the bridge. As the sun rises the mist swirls around the bridge and can give the illusion that it is suspended in mid-air.Lighting
I wanted to show this effect created by the mist and had to wait until it had lifted sufficiently to just show the bridge. This effect does not last long and so I had to fire off a few shots in succession.Equipment
