Behind The Lens

Location

A beautiful day at the Keukenhof te Lisse, Netherlands. I visited it with my wife https://keukenhof.nl/en/

Time

Hmm almost sunny, but yes there were dutch skies, clouds and blue sky and a windmill in the background

Lighting

settings Aperture f/14?ISO 200?Shutter 1/100?well must have been nice weather

Equipment

Canon EOS 7D with a SigmaDC 18-250 1:3.5-6.3 MacroHSM

Inspiration

if you may have the privilige to walk around there, and the COVID19 restrictions are over, than I prevail you a beautifull trip, with so much color, and different colors, you will be astonished. The scene of the daffodils and the anemone was from my pov a kiss between two different sorts, and therefore actual. The sphere of the surrounding environment is so much catching, so this picture is still somewhat emotional.

Editing

hardly, I cant remember, just an (almost perfect) shot ;)

In my camera bag

Quite a lot, cause when I visit such events, the bag is filled with 2 of 3 cameras, mostly a EOS 7D for regular work, and for backup an EOS 550D. When there is more architectural objectives the good old EOS 5D will be used. Lenses, only 3, the zoomlens mentioned, and a Canon 50mm 1.8 II, of a Canon 10-22 wide angle objective, a flash ( led at the moment) and some acessoires like a reflection shield, a.s.o.

Feedback

looking around, every flower is different, and the bloom is shortly, so keep looking, to what you see, en try to picture is on your way, an shoot frequently, so you get the experience of knowing your camera, and lens. Understanding the light and absorption of light, will make you better and better.
