Location
In Amersfoort, Holland. On our way back from a visit at our daughter.Time
It was about sunset, 21:30 an we were on bicycle. When I saw this in front, I dropped my cycle and shot some pictures.. this light situation happend about 5 to 10 seconds... than it was different...The most lucky thing is, I (mostly) alwasy carry my backpack with 1 of 2 camerasets with me..whereever I go.Lighting
evening light is rather reddish and thats a favourite, but this picture is a present!Equipment
Just my good old Canon 7D, with Sigma DC 18-250 3.5/6 HSM mounted. A sort of "all possibilities" lens.Inspiration
the light was so exceptional, thats whyEditing
almost nothingIn my camera bag
do you have some time? I have a CaseLogic Camera Backpack. I mostly use the 7D, but in the bag is a 5D body ( of a 550D body) so I can switch. The Sigma 18-250 is accompanied by a Canon 50mm 1.8 II, and a Canon EF 28-105. Of course the are several accus in the back for power, and a Flash. A Speedlite 430 II is always present. Also the Falcon Eyes Led lamp with a little tripod for accent lights. Than some filters, an polarise filter and some colored flash filters. Memory cards, some attributes, i.e. a piece of white fabric ( reflection and spreading light) some alufoil, pens, paper, a.s.o.total 5.9 KiloFeedback
Thats hard to say, I am always looking for "the light" an try to anticipate in my head the settings that I want to use... I remember for this picture I used the A setting. But some decisions you will have to make in a split second.
