Location
This photo was taken from the roof of my apartment in Mauritius. From the roof or the terrace of my apartment complex you get this view of this mountain called "Corps de guarde". I was just experimenting with newly bought lensball.Time
I actually started playing with this lensball at around 4pm but this particular one was taken just little after sunset.Lighting
This was shot in 100% natural light.Equipment
This was shot in Nikon D5300 and Tamron 18-270 f3. 5. Rested in the parapet of terrace roughly 1foot away from lensballInspiration
Somehow lensball images have always amused me. It was always in my To-do list. So as soon as I got my hands on one I started experimenting. And landed up with this image. :)Editing
In this particular case I processed it in Photoshop and Nik filters. Some minor adjustments for hues and curves. In my camera bag
I generally carry my Nikon D5300 body, Tamron 18-270, Nikon 35mm, Tamron 150-600 and Tokina 11-16 in my bag.Feedback
From my experience, Lensball photography required more practice and persistence. If you have clear idea what the final image should look like then just keep trying, don't give up.
