Brittney, you are a brilliant photographer, thanks for sharing your work! This is a great capture of great subject matter. One critique I have would be the brightness/contrast. (If I had to capture this in a hurry, so as not to miss it, I would prolly have the same dilemma :). A couple things to consider...increasing the contrast afterwards...Also, grab your camera, head outside and pick a subject that will not move. Then shoot it several times, changing the settings/exposure/white balance every shot...you can even use auto settings...when you look at the shots afterwards, you will be able to tell which settings worked best in that lighting. If you remember which setting provided the best results, you will get faster at capturing "on the go" shots, and making fast changes to your settings. Keep shooting, I would love to see more! Cheers!
