After a slow day of diving at Socorro it was great to get back to our liveaboard boat and find a number of silky sharks cruising around the back of the boat that I was able to get in and snorkel with. It came at the perfect time as the sun was setting and the dappled light made for a beautiful backdrop to the sharks. So I would dive down and compose myself as best I could to get the shark lit and have the dappled light come through.
