The body is tired, the mind is clouded, but the lost youth can be easily “dusted off”.
An inner child, who can be revealed through everyday things, that rediscovers the world around him-her with more and more new eyes.
In that moment of your life you’ll learn how to enjoy the little things, to give to every gesture the appropriate value, to well live the present, avoiding the anxiety for tomorrow. You’ll go back living your life through the experiences of those around us.
Try to find a day, a morning, or just few moments. Stop for a second your frantic and incessant life, where time and pressure fully influence our way to live, filtering all the “excesses” and replacing our existence with an endless running after ourselves.
Take a break and start talking with your grandparents. Be touched again by their stories. Listen to their words. Pay attention when the emotion clings to their throat, making the tone of voice more hoarse…honest and intimate.
I’d suggest you to dig deep in the watery eyes of the person in front of you and, just for awhile, make him-her go through life again. Take care of his-her floating thoughts, pass them on to others.
Look after those little pieces of his-her soul and she-he will feel immortal.
