Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at the base of Table Mountain in Capetown on my moblie phone (S7). I usually shoot with my Canon 600D and wasn't prepared to find this unusual setting at one of the most beautiful and scenic places around this city!

Time

Late afternoon around 7ish PM. The sun sets late in CT and the golden hour can be extremely breathtaking

Lighting

There was lots of natural lighting but i wanted to capture the dark yet colourful surroundings which nestled this sadly burnt down car

Equipment

As this was shot with my Samsung Galaxy 7, I don't really have much more to say...

Inspiration

It was a rare find, and even though destroyed by fire it showcases the elements of nature and the cycle of life or object

Editing

There was slight processing done, this was to correct the white balance and increase color depth...

In my camera bag

I dont have a very fancy kit but in my bag I have a Canon 600D with lenses 18-55mm, 55-250mm and a 50mm. I also have a Garmin Virb which I carry along when I feel adventurous and eager to capture something amazing
