I have been thinking for a while about getting into wave photography. I do a lot of seascape work, so it feels like an easy addition since I am already out on the beach or rock shelf to capture the sunrise. Both types of photography are challenging, however the reward of capturing something that is never going to exactly repeat itself again makes it special.

The first 30-60 minutes after sunrise is an amazing time to watch the waves rolling in. Withe the sun just above the horizon, warm light shines through each wave as it is about to break.
