I like the picture, Maybe b&w with some boosted contrast.

I agree that it would look good in black and white, along with some contrast. It would definitely bring out more of the fine details, as when it is in color, the grass takes away from much of the other details. Also, a lower vantage point, such as ground level, would give the photo a background for the foreground of leaves, but also give the professional-looking blur effect.

I took your advice and tried b&w. I know very little when it comes to photo editing... It probably shows... ???? I appreciate the feedback! Let me know what you think about it! :)

I do like that you tried the black and white. Trying new things is a great way to learn. However, the point of the original picture is to show the frost on the grass too. When the photo is black and white, the frost disappears, and the photo just turns into grass and leaves. Black and white photos are great to bring out detail, but it really depends on what detail you are trying to show. Also, what kind of editing software do you use?

To add to the comment about viewpoint, I personally like close-up photos (as some of mine may portray that) because they tend to show details that would otherwise not be seen from farther away. I have a few similar pictures to this, which were taken of frost on leaves, and I zoomed in to the leaves to show the detail of the frost on the outside. What I'm getting at here is that, for instance, a ground-level view with a closeup of one or two leaves that also incorporates the grass would show not only the frost detail, but fine details on the colorful leaves as well. Just a consideration.
