Weather is perhaps one of the most dramatic and tangible ways we experience change on a daily basis. While photographing chimpanzees on remote Ngamba Island in Lake Victoria, Uganda, I suddenly saw two waterspouts spinning wildly in the middle of the lake. It was a surreal and completely unexpected sight. Here is the more dramatic of the two waterspouts. A few hours later, the sun was out and all the drama had completely dissipated.
