Not trying to be annoying, however is a special set up. Interesting point the background was white bristle board. The reason it was interesting was the orginal came back as a dark grey with dull white flakes and this was edited to black.Equipment
Mamiya rb67 i think, medium format camera. Stock lense or portrait lense, been a while i think.strong believer in polarizers. Medium format wide angle. I play with a fulifilm S4850. I make up my own light till im happy with it.Inspiration
A movie about a french inventor of sorts, job was to amuse the king,basically. I wont give it away you will have to think about it but concept of orange is from the movie. So dont remember name so this advice is only for somebody is interested and you havve to work for it. As in the long run knowledge learnt is more useful then knowledge told.Editing
The orginal was printed only once, the one you see just had black background added but lost some effect. Also who processed it did the color balance but i thought it was not off the original image of my eyes. And just basic stuff, as mentioned polarizer filters. I make light boxes to suit what want. Wolf was and is at the door, so i dont buy alot and try to make lighting. I would say making your tools gives you a better understanding of what they can do, also what your lighting is. Dictates what your going to do.this sometimes produces situations that fall into unexplored areas of lighting.In my camera bag
Usual stuff as far as light source, which i might ruin to get a light i like. Lenses, a knowledge of getting a focus, lenses i like, i like manual focus for a personal effect and auto for the rest.Feedback
Get inspired what ever that is, have a image goal however if something pops you didnt visualize follow it through. Remember alot is known but not everything is known. Follow not just 1 photographer or many follow a image concept that appeals to you. Once you have that 2 years later you should be able advance it. The best thing in your camera bag should be whats between your ears.
