This photograph was taken from a helicopter with "no doors" so that we could get some clear photos of the lave flow from the Kilauea Volcano, on the Big Island in Hawaii. We were hoping for more lava, but with nature, anything can happen. This is a closer view where you can see the explosion of the rocks below the lava.
