The clock works were originally built in 1389. It has only an hour hand. Originally, it was much higher, but when the clock was restored, the citizens asked that it be lower so they could see it. It tells the hour, and the phases of the moon. It was electrified in 1920 and restored again in 1997. Today, it stand over a pedestrian only road.
