Last night I was so happy to get a message from a friend saying he was coming down to chase some aurora. We decided since the aurora was predicted to be active earlier in the night that we would drive to the Torrance Barrens. We setup at the Highland Pond and began to watch the sky darken and the people show up. It is so nice to see more people going out to view the stars and aurora and luckily lady aurora did not disappoint and as we got about 30 minutes of pillars.
