Trying to push my high key style of animals photography further i contacted a friend of mine for this photo. He owns and runs a birds of prey display and was willing to help me get this. I had in mind the photo of an Angelic pose and the barn owl (after numerous attempts!) obliged. (but only with me laying flat on my back!)
