It wa s taken in the evening just as the sun was setting, through the mountains, from the west.Lighting
The lighting is all natural lighting, from the setting evening sun,Equipment
Is taken with a canon 70D, on a tripod, no flashInspiration
I was inspired to take this shot seeing the setting sun in the rear view mirror of the car, while driving through the valley. I knew they was a large lake at the end of the valley with easy access to the edge, and would make an excellent position, to capture the setting sun.Editing
No post processing, apart form brightness maybe. In my camera bag
My canon 70D, standard lens and a telephoto lens.Feedback
Just wait, for the right time as the sun is setting, take plenty of shots, because once the suns set (which can be very quick) you will have missed the opportunity.
