I took this photo at the Canadian Raptor Conservancy near Port Dover, Ontario, CanadaTime
Between 11am - 1pm approx.Lighting
I just used the natural light, no extra lighting.Equipment
I used my Sony A330 with zoom lens of 55 - 200, handheldInspiration
I really wanted to get some shots of larger birds like the Eagles & Owls & the Raptor Conservancy was the perfect place to get these type of shots. It was my first visit to the conservancy & I will definitely go for future visits.Editing
I did a little post processing like cropping in since my zoom was relatively low at 200 & contrast to lighten a bit.In my camera bag

Be patient & persistent. I got a lot that didn't turn out but it was worth the effort for the good shots. The weather was a real challenge because my lens kept having issues focusing due to the heavy snowfall at times. It was very cold at -9 & I will definitely purchase photographer gloves because I had to take my gloves off to work the camera so my hands hurt due to this but I wanted those shots lol...
