Behind The Lens

Location

Hallstatt, Austria

Time

It was mid afternoon and it was really cold!

Lighting

I wanted the image to capture the snow tones of white and blue but with the intricate details of Hallstatt.

Equipment

I was using a canon 750d with 10-18 ultra wide lens with a tripod.

Inspiration

Hallstatt was on my bucketlist for many years and loads of images online spurred me on to take time off and head on down to experience it myself.

Editing

Hmm there was a small tweak to it such as basic curves and contrast settings. Didn't want to over-edit such a picturesque landscape

In my camera bag

As of now I've moved on to a Sony gears. I currently shoot on A6500 and A7ii. Lenses I'm currently using a zeiss 55mm , sony 28 f2 and my dad's good old Nikon lens which I have to manually focus with an adapter.

Feedback

Go to Hallstatt at non touristy months as its pretty arduous to vie for a nice photo spot with loads of tourist around. I went during February and it was fairly good but cold.
