This photo of the Petronas Towers was taken on my trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in March 2016. I had always wanted to see this tourist attraction since it was featured in the movie called “Entrapment” (1999). with Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones. When I told my friend that I was coming to visit; he made arrangements for me to snap some photos! Wow! What can I say; It was amazing feeling to finally be there, see it, and capture this photo!Time
Since my friend knew I wanted more than anything to see this buildings architecture and sleek lines, we decided that the best time to go in the unforgiving heat of Kuaka Lumpur with the least amount of tourist also wanting the same photo; was between 19:30pm to 23:00pm. With dark sky as it’s backdrop, enables this metal construct to standout highlighting its uniqueness.Lighting
In thinking about the lighting, I saw the Petronas Towers and how I imagined it would be when I finally got the chance to add this photo to my collection! A massive architectural construct arises out of darkness and all of a sudden, the Petronas Towers appear as thousands lights refract around the massive building showing off its sleek architectural design.Equipment
The only camera I had when I took this photo was my IPhone 7. My Canon Rebel 600D battery had worn out at by the time this photo was taken. No flash was used in taking this photo.Inspiration

My advice in preparing for this type of photo: 1. Check out what is the best time of day will get you the photo you imagined. 2. Check out the lighting required to give you the photo you hoping to get. 3. If toursit attraction; check out when are the times with the least foot traffic. 4. Make sure you have all your equipment in the best place and position and charged! 5. Make sure all your camera adjustments are where you want them and shoot! 6. Take as many different shots of the image to maximize your opportunities to ensure a great photo. You may only have one chance so you want to make sure you leave with an amazing shot!
