Chuck we were going to head out for the Poppy preserve but my understanding is that there aren't many. Apparently the rain didn't come at the right time. Darn I wanted to go!

Thanks I love them too. They're our state flower and when I was young I would see them everywhere, but not anymore. I use to live in a rural area, but unfortunately our little town has grown. Instead of orange groves, avocado groves, strawberry fields, we have houses:( The area doesn't smell the same either.
