is always a gamble ....
the lakes of Pilato will be shaped as glasses?
until you get a view at the end of trek you do not know, it's still a show intense, that leaves you breathless ...
and this time, my first time, I found a nice pair of glasses!
on the left the Pizzo del Diavolo, west foothills of Mount Vettore, at center, in the distance, Mount of the Sibilla, with scarring of the road at high altitude, and on the right, not visible, Mount Vettore, the highest peak of Sibillini;
from here you can see well the glacial valley, only one in the Appennini chain, a show within a show, with a great flowering of mountain flowers ...
and finally the lakes of Pilato, glacial lakes, fed by the snow melting of the surrounding peaks;
more to the left, not visible, Castelluccio and its flowery plain of lentils, cornflowers, poppies ...
a great effort to get up here (2.476 mt sl), seeing my physical condition by computer user and car driver, but it was worth it!
