There is always a degree of risk involved with being out on the rocks in this location, The causeway is off to the left and the rocks are always a gamble with the incoming tide. With a keen eye i am always lured onto the rocks by the depth you can gain from shooting at this angle. It always makes for a wet morning, not for the faint hearted.

With this image i placed some voils on the floor, Gold, Pink and black, I mixed them around create a colourful mess before having the model lay down o

St Mary's Island

Sunrise on Blyth Pier, I used a 50mm Focal length to compress the perspective, I wanted the lifeboy as part of my composition.

With only basic equipment i took this with an entry level SLR a 50mm F1.4 and a reflector.
