We visited the coastal edge of the Olympic Nation Park to see this extraordinary sight. Among the beauty of the rugged coast, the many outcroppings, the miles of pebbles, are thousands of remnant logs of washed-up old growth carcasses. it is truly an incredible sight to behold. We had never seen tree trunks as large as some of these just piled for miles along the tide line of the beach. Amazing is the only word for it.
