Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken along the edge of a hay field in ohio

Time

Late evening as the sun was setting

Lighting

All natural lighting. No flash as I wanted the foreground to be silhouetted against the sunset. I picked this particular plant to use as the silhouette because of it's interesting shape and because it stood taller than the rest.

Equipment

Nothing other than my Nikon D3300 and Tamron 16-300 mm lens

Inspiration

The sunset itself was all the inspiration I needed.

Editing

Nope it is what it is. Sunsets don't really need any editing :)

In my camera bag

Just my camera. I might carry a backup battery and a lens cleaner but that's it. I like to keep it simple.

Feedback

Just go out and practice. If your looking to get a silhouette photo don't use and flash or foreground lighting.
