Location

this was an opportune photo taken at spur of the moment with my kids, as you probably know kids are unpredictable and as I went to snap the picture they all moved, this was fun outcome. I just love the connotations associated with it, created with specific editing features.

Time

this was late afternoon on a family fun event, spur of moment quick snap.

Lighting

when I first saw this image I had certain reminders of a poor, deprived childhood, similar to Oxfam style adverts, I changed to black and white to enhance this notion and strengthen it's meaning. i was interested in the idea of creating situations with your camera, that weren't necessarily true and showing true power of an image and how we read them

black and white and strengthened contrast to allow a stronger connection to the concept I was trying to show

always camera that is canon 80d and my trusty kit lens and my fixed 50mm as it produces beautiful depth of field
