This shot was captured at Manori beach, an Island few kilometers away from Mumbai. Though the pic is a bit enhanced but the cloud formation that day was lovely and I was lucky to have found this blue colored boat just waiting there for me to snap it.

Location
Manori Beach, Maharastra, IndiaTime
It was shot at dusk, the last few minutes before the sunset.Lighting
Since it was dusk I took two shots one that was exposed for the sky and the other one to have some details of the boat as well. Later merged them during post.Equipment
Canon 760D with 18-135mm kit lens mounted. Handheld without any external lighting.Inspiration
If I wasn't inspired by that scene there that day I could not call myself a photographer. I mean just look at them dramatic skies and their hues, you ought to compose a good frame. The beach was fairly empty so I explored the beach to have some foreground in the frame and spotted this blue boat that worked just fine.Editing
Shot an extra shot to catch some details of the boat and later merged that shot with the main one.In my camera bag
At the time when this shot was taken, I had quite recently bought my first DSLR, Canon 760D paired with just the 18-135 kit lens. Now I have Sony A73 as my main body with 28-75mm and 17-28mm Tamron lenses. Use the 760D Canon as a secondary body.Feedback
Dramatic skies make for a visually appealing subject by themselves, but an outstanding image needs a good composition that leads the viewer seamlessly throughout the image. Including foreground element(s) works miracles and provides for better storytelling.
