This famous trek in Garhwal, India is now forever transformed. This was a group of us on a Study Tour in the Summer of 2012 trekking up from the village of Kedarnath to Gandhi Sarovar. Torrential rains in the Summer of 2013, and a horrific landslide took out the lake where we were headed, all of this trail, and covered much of the village in mud and muck. To the day one year later. We were blessed to "get this in" before the tragedy that many in India say claimed over 5000 lives in the Garhwal Region.
