Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the frontyard of my home

Time

I was trying to take some pictures of my garden in the evening at around 4pm when my daughter came to me and kept staring at me silently. At that moment, when I saw her innocent look and the expression, I quickly took this surprising shot. The outcome was wonderful.

Lighting

Lighting was not so favourable so I decided to take it in B&W

Equipment

Nikon D5500 DSLR & 18-55mm Nikkor Lens

Inspiration

Purley the innocence in her face and the hidden smile.

Editing

As a practise, I do not do much post processing and keep it minimal. However I use some applications for cropping and to make minor adjustments.

In my camera bag

I do not own much equipment. I usually carry a Nikon D5500 camera, two Nikkor lenses (18-55 & 55-300), some filters and a tripod. That's all!
