Location

This photo of Multnomah Falls was taken in Oregon on a trip between Idaho and Portland.

Time

This image wasn't captured at the best time of day. I was actually just taking a walk in the middle of a long drive. I think it was about 10 am.

Lighting

The day was overcast but even without great lighting the falls are amazing to photograph.

Equipment

This was taken with one of the first digital SLR camera's Canon made. That show how old I am. Handheld, kit lense 50mm.

Inspiration

Midway through a long drive I stopped at Multnomah Falls. I heard the falls before I saw them I knew I had to take some photos.

Editing

Very minimal post processing. I had just switched from film so I was just learning the camera.

In my camera bag

Nikon z5 and Nikon D3400. Tamron lenses.

Feedback

Just keep experimenting. Photography is a lot of trial and error. Lots of error at the beginning.
