Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a local park, the walking trails make a beautiful fall background. Doing the shots in black and white brought the model more to the forefront.

Time

We shot on location just before sunset for soft warm tones.

Lighting

I wanted the bright colors to be washed out for this particular image as I wanted viewers to see the beauty of the model rather than the background flora.

Equipment

Just used my Cannon Rebel and an 80 mil lense.

Inspiration

The model was my inspiration.

Editing

I sharpened, cropped and adjusted light for this image.

In my camera bag

I usually have a 50 ml and 80 ml lense, light reflectors, extra batteries and my flash. I didn't need a flash for this image.

Feedback

I think the time of day has a huge role in the way the images appear. I love shooting at sunset.
