This photo was taken by Big Shell Lake in Saskatchewan. North of Saskatoon.Time
This stormy shot was taken in the later afternoon as the clouds rolled in fast, I found this abandoned farm.Lighting
The lighting is all natural. The sun shining through what it could of the stormy clouds gave the scene a good, dramatic feel.Equipment
I used my Nikon D750 with a 10-24mm cropped lens. It's still my favorite even with the full sensor frame of the camera bodyInspiration
I love storms AND abandoned farms/buildings. This was a perfect impromptu image that mixed two things I love.Editing
I used Lightroom for the hdr portion as well as bringing up the shadows a touch and dropping the highlights for a moody shotIn my camera bag
