There is a large park near me on the Mississippi backwaters called Goose Island. Some of the water is still iced over. In all my years of growing up here I can honestly say that, until the day I took this photo, I have never seen any geese there. It wasn't until after I took this that I realized one of them left a bit of a mess behind. Geese. can't take them anywhere. :)
