The skunk was raise for release and was not descented, but since he was acclimated to humans, he was release in a remote area of a State park. We got him when he was about 5 inches long. While we handled him regularly, he was fully armed. My daughter grew up with the rehabilitated wildlife, and she wanted to release the skunk. We worked with 4 different vet offices and The Humane society.
