I took this picture at a Bird of Prey Centre whilst having this little S American beauty sat on my gloved L hand, and in my R hand was my Fuji HS20 Bridge camera. A nice bright day helped with the guessed exposure.

Location
This picture was taken at a bird of prey centre during a gifted tour for my Birthday. We were shown several birds in flight before being allowed to hold different birds on a gloved hand. I somehow managed to capture this image whilst the owl (Gizmo) was perched on my left hand. I estimated a focal length and held the camera in my right hand then turned my body slightly to get a nice blurred background.Time
I remember it was mid morning on a bright day.Lighting
Other than a blurred background, I made sure that the sun was at an angle to produce some highlights on the feathers.Equipment
I used my Fuji finepix with a steady hand as best as I coulkd manage.Inspiration
I love birds of prey and have always wanted to get close to them even in captivity.Editing
Nothing to do other than increase the contrast slightly. In my camera bag
I sometimes include a pocket Samsung digital, but on most occasions I trust my Fuji with its 30 x zoom and lots of shooting options.Feedback
You will definitely need a steady hand or get someone else to hold the bird.
