Late February along the Niagara River with temperatures that are nearly twice the norm, melting the shore ice and exposing algae covered rocks. Between factories and power plants, ice melt and nitrogen rich farm runoff, our natural environment is continuously being overtaxed. When will we learn? Certainly not anytime soon with the current administration in charge of our country.
