Music is abundant in Ottawa.

Over the years, some of the best musicians in the world were either born and raised here (like Alanis Morrissette, Bruce Cockburn and Paul Anka) or came here just to hang out (like Joni Mitchell, Graham Nash, George Harrison, Lenny Breau who lived in Ottawa for a time, among others)

I, myself, made a living over a couple of years busking for 8 hours a day.

The musician in this picture was belting out some ballads on the saxophone, competing with traffic for a few bucks.
