My Sister and I took a road trip down Hwy 1 and this was one of scenes we came across.

This bird was so kind to pose for me.

I just the way he seems to be smiling.

This was taken in Fairplay, CO.

I was in Rocky Mountain National Park and caught this guy in mid bugle.

Taken in Nebraska I was shocked at how large they really are.

Location

This was taken at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, NE. It is a wonderful zoo as the Gorillas are outside and visitors are inside which gives you chances for shots like this one.

Time

This was taken in the early afternoon.

Lighting

Just natural light.

Equipment

I used my Cannon Rebel SL1 EOS 100D, I did not use a flash or tripod. The lens was an 18-55 .

Inspiration

I love Gorillas and I loved the wisdom of his eyes and the expression on his face.

Editing

I enlarged it slightly.

In my camera bag

My camera, the 18-55 lens and the 75-300 lens I always have extra batteries and a charger for the car just in case.

Feedback

To be honest I just go with my gut if I think it looks interesting I shoot it.
