Making my way towards the Golden Gate Bridge along the San Francisco coastline I was constantly captivated by the changing perspectives of the bridge. The fisherman in this scene caught my eye, and I really wanted to grab a long exposure to emphasise the stoic nature of the structure over time, but also the patience and stillness of the fisherman, not moving over the course of a few minutes, happy to bide his time and let the world go by. The cloudy sky perhaps gives away the fact that this was a fairly choppy day, but I think the longer exposure time helps to draw attention to the structures in the image without the distraction of textures in the water.
