I took this photo on the edge of "Aiguille du Midi" in Chamonix, France. It was a stormy day in the mountain, i didn't expect this, but it was the best opportunity to have a shot like this. And the good thing is this shot, there is nobody, we were lonely.Time
I remember that it was late in the morning,because of the wind we took time to go up there.Lighting
This is a perfect place about lights. The sun rising in front of us, so there is this contrast about light and shadows done by the edge.Equipment
I used my Canon 1d mark II with a 24-70mm.Inspiration
The wind. I often go on this edge, but i went only one time in the winter season by a stormy day. This snow flying made the photo!Editing
I just edit the picture like I use to, it's all about light, bright.In my camera bag
I'm often in the mountains shooting some ski, I have a lot of mountain stuff in my bag like crampons, rope, water, ect... so i take my camera with a 24-70mm and a 70-200mm. I can't take more!Feedback
Just go in the mountain a stormy day, and it will be easy to have beautiful pictures. But stay safe, don't do anything stupid for a shot!!!
