We took advantage of an overcast sky and were able to shoot all day. It almost looked like it was about to rain for much of the time bringing some great dramatic skies and soft even lighting everywhere.Equipment

I love capturing the texture and detail in working hands. The owner of these had spent the morning getting a combine back on the road. The grease, grit and all the cracks and creases are 100% authentic.Editing
Post was all done in Lightroom. Color balance, exposure compensation and some masking for detail and focus.In my camera bag
This was a while back. I'm not shooting all mirrorless on Canon R5 and can't share enough love for the RF mount lenses. Torn between the 28-70, 85 and 70-200. All beautiful, albeit heavy, pieces of glass.Feedback
Shoot all day long. This shot happened by accident while a few guys were talking about something and we were getting ready to head out. If you are shooting library, don't overwork it. You'll miss more than you gain. Make sure you know what you need and set your schedule on the day. Then just shoot, shoot, shoot. A typical day of library shooting for me will net me somewhere in the 2500-3500 range image images. Which greatly increases my odds of capturing moments like this one.
