Location
This photo was taken on the Kona Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. This black sand beach was once residence of four Hawaiian Kings, including the Great King Kamahameha. The hotel in the background has since been removed and the ancient ruins are in the process of being restored.Time

The colours of the sunset were starting to spread across the sky, while the luminescent clouds were a blue that I had never seen before.Equipment

Grabbed the camera when I noticed the moody sky with an unusual mixture of the turquoise reflection on the lagoon and purple tones in the sky, attributed to the violent storm that had just passed through.Editing
