Escape

This is a very personal piece for me. I wanted to capture a struggle between what we "know" is good for us and what we "want", I have always viewed Nature as something that I need to thrive. But what may seem like the right thing, can also be our chains. I hinted at that struggle by adding a small element of black fog coming from the edge of the Woods. But what am I striving for? Yes, all that white may seem like it could a good thing, but does it not have hints of despair in it with subtle muted tones instead of just pure white? Maybe that isn't what's best after all? But since the grass may seem greener on the other side, I still strive for that which is new to me - an escape from what I know into that which is unknown.
