Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a Vegetable field in India. I click this shot when I was practising photography to learn compositions, camera settings.

Time

It was A Sunny afternoon of winters While practising nature photography I noticed Butterfly mating and I saw this for the first time. So I tried to click my best shot. This was taken on 15th Dec 2016 at 1:19 PM.

Lighting

I click this picture in a Sunny light So it was already having too much of light to balance that I lower down the ISO.

Equipment

This was shot on Canon EOS 7D with an 18-135mm lens with Canon f/3.5-5.6 Lens. No other equipment was used.

Inspiration

I want to capture something unique and different and this picture was a part of that. I want to show the true beauty of nature which we hardly notice. Nature inspires me to capture beautiful things around us and showing it to the world.

Editing

I click this in RAW Format and later did Post-processing of only brightness and contrast.

In my camera bag

Earlier I was using Canon EOS 7D with an 18-135mm lens with Canon f/3.5-5.6 Lens and Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens but last year I shifted to Canon EOS 6D- Mark2 and Lens Canon 24-105 usm ii and Canon 50mm f/1.8 Lens.

Feedback

To Capture similar pic I advise to keep high shutter speed and Camera should set on High Bursting Shot. Don't get closer to butterflies straight away. Keep clicking from a distance and come closer slowly. That will get you more chances to get a good shoot. Otherwise, Butterflies are sensitive and they will fly away as you try to come directly.
