This shot was taken with my iphone while i was walking home from work. I am very conscious about my face, especially chin. so i always try to take selfies from different angles to see what “my best angle” is.Time
I took this photo in the afternoon, around 5-6pm on a cold winter day.Lighting
I wanted to photo to look sad, cold and grim. I was going through some tough time and i wanted the angle and lighting to show the sadness that was oozing out of me, but also the softness of my soul, but the strength i had in me to move forward.Equipment

I wanted to take this photo to put a picture to the poem i had written that day.Editing
It was taken in colour but changed it for B&W. I felt B&W would give the photo the effect i was looking for and fit best with the mood i was in and want the viewer to feel.In my camera bag
Since i’m not a professional photographer, i’d say the equipment i carry with me all the time is my iphone. On weekends, i carry my sony alpha 6000 with 16-50mm and 55-210mm lenses.Feedback
I’d say, to practice shooting at different angles, whatever your equipment. I tried to take this photo while there was not too much sun so that i wouldn’t get any overexposed zones on my face.
