The warmer weather and the rain over the past 36 hours had made the at times waist deep snow almost hard enough to hike over. Almost that is. With the wind that lays the snow like an even stretched bed sheet across the terrain several meters would be easy going and then.....drop, down you go,, for a few meters of work. All for this shot. Which I am not too happy with but the work involved deserved its sharing.
